Lord knows that's right!  I refuse to be on a diet ever again.  I just finished the most delicious peanut butter protein shake.  Other post-ops I know raise their eyebrows when I tell them I have stuff like protein shakes that taste like milkshakes or chicken parmesan or pizza or even ice cream (all enhanced with protein).  It's do-able, you just gotta know how to do it!!! That is my mission.  That all post-ops know there is good food after weight loss surgery!  And if you don't know how to make it, I will show you!

Thanks for the support!

Hello Nik!

Those parties sound awesome as I have become quite the new recipe person myself. In the last two weeks I have tried over 6 new recipes that I really liked :)

I am 6 months out as of yesterday and have lost 103 lbs! Kinda going through a bit of a stall right now so I keep pressing forward with protein packed recipes!! lol

Thanks for popping over to the MD board and saying hi!!

Hi Nikki.  Welcome to the Maryland forum.  This is a great group of people.  You will truely enjoy it.

Whom ever said that people who have WLS are taking the easy way out, have never had this experience.  This is a journey and a major challenge.  Step by step I am striving to make it as a loser!!
